Dunaverty
Golf Club held its inaugural AM-AM on
Saturday 3rd of April which proved to be
an enormous success with 132 golfers
from all over Argyll taking part. The
morning saw the best of the weather,
however in the afternoon the forecasted
wind and rain duly arrived. It did not
however dampen the competitors
enthusiasm as they continued to tee off
despite the changing weather. The
winning team from Springbank consisting
of Stephen Kelly, Calum Fraser, Ian
Keyte and Norman Gwyne took advantage of
the good weather and pristine greens and
played some scintillating golf before
returning to post a sensational early
score of 49. This score was to prove too
hot for the other teams to handle and
although a few teams returned scores of
50, no-one could equal the Springbank
sponsored team.
Dunaverty Golf club would like to thank

years.
