South Kintyre Sports Council

Welcome to our website where you will
find useful information on sports in South
Kintyre.
South Kintyre Sports
Council exists to support sports clubs and organisations within the
South Kintyre area of Argyll & Bute.
We are a voluntary
organisation and ALL members of the
committee give
up their time in
a voluntary capacity. If you would like
to help, we would be delighted to hear from you!
We are able to offer
grants and advice to our members as well
as access to the Sports Council's own
mini bus which is available to members at subsidised rates.
As well
as being involved with our own sports clubs and organisations, as a
Sports Council we pull together to represent sport as one voice in
South Kintyre. We continually strive to improve sport and
support our
member clubs and also to raise funds to support our members.
This follows the successful campaign to raise Ł25,000 for a new
Sports Council
mini bus in just under 12 months in 2008.
The
campaign for an
All Weather Pitch in Campbeltown continues and you can
